Hong Kong’s Tian Tan Buddha
The world’s tallest seated Buddha can be found in Hong Kong. It’s named Tian Tan Buddha and it faces north. You need to climb up 268 seats to reach it. The entrance fee is HK$60 and a vegetarian meal is included. There are shops selling joss sticks, incenses, statues and much more around the area. There’s a monastery, “Buddhist Kingdom in the South” nearby.
