Ruins of Saint Paul's CathedralOne of the most important attractions of the city, Ruins of St. Paul's is to be found if tourists walk down to the north of the city. There is an older screen wall of the Monte Fort and the St Paul’s Church. The fort is one of the best maintained forts in Macau.
The Museum of MacauSituated at the right where the Ruins of St Paul’s is present, the Museum of Macau with its exquisite collection narrates all stories concerning the past of the city. This place is located at the bottom of the Penha Peninsula.
A-Ma TempleA-Ma Temple is located in the southwest part of the city. This temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. This temple was built in praise of the goddess A-Ma. There are thousands of devotees visiting this temple during the festival.
Outer HarbourThe peninsula in its southern part is the modern and newly developed area. This area is called the Outer Harbour and the New Area that is reclaimed. Here they are many gambling casinos and also hotels that are most exquisite. These areas are full of people from all parts of the world as the night life is very happening here.
Coloane and TaipaThe two islands of Coloane and Taipa are connected by bridges and there is a picturesque beaches and tranquil nature around. Besides there are seaside places, where people bathe, in Macau.
Macau Jockey ClubThe Horse racing at Macau Jockey Club is the place of attractions for gamblers from adjoining areas like Bamboo Bay and Hac Sa Bay

Macau is the land of beautiful cuisines with moth-watering delicacies. There is the Portuguese cuisine Macau style. The Cantonese cuisine and delicious cuisine from Italy, India, Korea, Japan, Brazil and France are every ones favourite. There are also dim sum food styles typical of Macau that is a major attraction for tourists. Also the Pastries de Nata which is a Portuguese cuisine, an egg tart, and also a featured snack found at the Café and Nata along with cashew cookies, cheese rolls, egg rolls, and chicken cakes are also served in many café which are good-to-eat treat for all friends and family.
How to Get There
Macau can be reached by travelers via the Airport – The Macau International Airport, MEM. This airport is connected with other major airports and the travelers from all over the world. On arrival at the airport, they can hire a car from the rental companies. There are some well known rental companies here. Other not going for car rentals can take a bus from the airport or hire a taxi. Macau can also be reached by the sea as there is a ferry connection where many of the travelers are from Hong Kong.
Traveling Around
Public transportation is limited in Macau and driving is much of a hassle through the crowded streets. Therefore though cars and taxis are available on hire, yet the travelers do much of the traveling on foot. Some people move on pedicabs and also others move on tricycles which are driven by a driver and can be hired for moving around. The places which are a difficult to reach should be accessed by cabs.
